  • Water electrolysis and its relevance in industrial applications.
  • The process of Electrodeposition, Electroplating, and their industrial uses.
  • Electrotyping and its applications in manufacturing processes.

Day 4: Electrochemical Production and Corrosion

  • Industrial processes: Aluminium production and Copper production and refining.
  • The Chloralkaline process and its industrial importance.
  • Basics of Corrosion, Passivation, and their Prevention.
  • Understanding the Evans diagram and Pourbaix diagrams in corrosion analysis.

Day 5: Electrochemical Analysis and Techniques

  • Overview of Electroanalytical methods used in research and industry.
  • Potentiometry, Coulometry, and their applications in electrochemical analysis.
  • Techniques of Voltammetry and Polarography in real-world applications.
  • Amperometry: Its significance and use in practical electrochemical processes.
